A Little Introduction
Who am I: My name is Mona. I’m a 57 year old (as of 2024) retired Telecommunications Engineer.
Retired early from an accidental fall from a telecommunications tower.
I built my first computer at the age of 12. Boy have computers come a long way.
Background: in Unix, Windows and Linux systems (Not Apple).
I am currently in the process of building a disabilities friendly Linux distribution that will be free for anyone to use. Based on Ubuntu it will have all of the accessibility software available for install right out of the box (figuratively speaking). Just select the accessibility options you need at initial install. Some disabilities software require specific hardware (not included).
Hobbies: Crochet, Needle Knitting, Loom Knitting, Cross Stitch and 3D Paper Modeling.
