Feature 1: Virus and Threat Protection
This feature of the Windows security app provides real-time protection against viruses and malware in your system.
STEP 1: Open the settings from the start menu or just by pressing the Windows key + I.
STEP 2: Then navigate to privacy and security.
STEP 3: Then click on the window security app.
STEP 4: Click on virus and threat protection.
STEP 5: Under the current threats, click on quick scan option to check for malware and viruses in your system.
STEP 6: Wait until the scan is completed to get the results.
STEP 7: You can also explore other types of scans by clicking on the scan options for a deeper analysis of your PC.
Feature 2: Account protection
This feature helps the users to protect their identity and crucial sign-in information of their system.
STEP 1: In the windows security app click on the account protection option.
STEP 2: Click on the manage sign-in options.
STEP 3: Now you can set up the windows hello, facial recognition, fingerprint recognition or PIN for a secure sign-in of your system.
STEP 4: You can also enable the dynamic lock to automatically lock your device when you are away.
STEP 5: Enable this option and restart your PC to set up the dynamic lock.
